Problem Note 54380: Grid-launched SAS® Stored Process Servers in a multi-spawner environment ignore the "Inactivity timeout" setting
In a grid-launched environment, SAS Stored Process Servers that are launched on the non-parent node do not honor the SAS Stored Process Server load-balancing Inactivity timeout setting. The stored-process servers continue to run and do not terminate, even after the timeout passes.
This problem occurs when you have SAS® Object Spawners that are configured and running on all nodes.
However, stored-process servers that are launched on the parent node do terminate as expected.
